Political consultations between Armenian, Serbian foreign ministries held in Belgrade
Political consultations between the Foreign Ministry of Armenia and Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia were held in Belgrade on May 31. The Armenian delegation was headed by Deputy Minister Avet Adonts and the Spanish delegation was led by State Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Nemanja Stevanovic.
As the press department at the foreign ministry reported, during the consultations the interlocutors discussed a wide range of issues of the Armenian-Serbian bilateral political agenda, establishment of diplomatic representation in Yerevan and Belgrade, enhancement of the legal framework, exchanged views on the prospects of further deepening of cooperation in trade-economic, cultural spheres, interparliamentary ties as well as touched upon on issues of visa liberation.
During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on a number of regional and international issues of mutual interest. The cooperation between the two countries in international structures was also highlighted.
Deputy Minister Avet Adonts presented the latest developments in the NK peace process, highlighting the EU’s full support to the OSCE Minsk Group efforts.
