Armenian justice minister reveals reason of his resignation
Armenia’s Minister of Justice Artak Zeynalyan, who stepped down last week, briefly commented on the reasons behind his resignation in response to reporters’ questions at the National Assembly on Monday.
“Assessing all the information flows on the media, and not only, I made a decision to submit resignation,” he said, but didn’t elaborate.
Zeynalyan promised to answer more questions later as he was to attend a session of the Supreme Judicial Council which was set to discuss his motion on subjecting a judge to disciplinary liability.
Zeynalyan announced his resignation in a Facebook post on Saturday, after almost one year in office.
