Artsakh president dismisses Security Council secretary, appoints new police chief
Artsakh Republic President Bako Sahakyan on Tuesday approved the government’s decision on dismissing Levon Mnatsakanyan as Director of the Artsakh State Service on Emergency Situations in connection with assuming a new office, the presidential press service said.
On the same day the Artsakh leader approved another decision of the government to appoint Vladik Khachatryan Director of the State Service on Emergency Situations, relieving him of the position of deputy director of the service.
Sahakyan signed a decree according to which Chief of the Artsakh Police Igor Grigoryan was relieved of his duties over assuming a new position.
The president signed another decree on appointing Levon Mnatsakanyan the Artsakh Police Chief.
According to another presidential decree signed on the same day Igor Grigoryan was appointed Adviser to the Artsakh president and Artsakh president's representative at large.
On 11 June Bako Sahakyan signed a decree to dismiss Vitaly Balasanyan as Artsakh Security Council Secretary.
Also, President Sahakyan attended the Artsakh Police HQ and presented the newly appointed chief to the staff wishing him efficient work. He expressed gratitude to Igor Grigoryan for his activity.
On the same day the president also attended the office of the Artsakh State Service on Emergency Situations to present the newly appointed director to the staff wishing him fruitful work.
