Driver wounded after car crashes into power pole in Armenian capital
A car crashed into a power pole on an avenue in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia, on Friday night, injuring the driver.
The crash happened on Myasnikyan Avenue, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.
A fire and rescue squad of the ministry responded to the incident after receiving a crash report at 3:51am.
The crew found out that the driver was thrown out of the vehicle after the Nissan Tiida ran off the road to collide into the pole. The driver was taken to the Heratsi Hospital Complex No.1 in an unconscious state.
No other cars were involved in the crash.
The cause of the crash wasn’t immediately known.
