Vahe Grigoryan sworn in as Constitutional Court judge
Newly elected judge of the Constitutional Court Vahe Grigoryan took the oath of office at the National Assembly on Thursday.
During the swearing-in ceremony, the new judge said it’s a great honor for him to assume such a high office.
“My election to this post has passed a long path. It all took place in an open and transparent manner,” he said.
Grigoryan unveiled his plans to discuss the existing constitutional gaps with his colleagues of the Constitutional Court.
“While swearing in as a Constitutional Court judge, I must demand a complete exclusion of any encroachment on the court members or any representative of its staff, with all manifestations of peaceful assemblies to be carried out in observance of the law,” he stressed.
The Armenian parliament appointed Grigoryan as the new judge for the court on 18 June.
