Aleppo textile factory resumes operations
The industrial zone in Aleppo return to function normally after six years of disruption as a result of the war in Syria, Ria Novosty reported, citing the employees
“Our textile is of good quality as it is used in production of different clothing. The volumes depend on production orders,” one of the employees told the agency.
Aleppo has historically been the nation’s industrial city, although much of its industrial base was destroyed, damaged or looted in the conflict. The textile sector, which at one time represented 60% of Aleppo’s industry, suffered greatly.
