Armenian is the fifth with number of migrant in Russia
A total of 565,000 migrants arrived in Russia in 2018 - 90 per cent of them from CIS countries, the date of the NAFI institute of social analysis and forecast said cited by Nezavisimaya Gazeta.
Like in previous years, Ukraine hass the largest number of migrants in Russia accounting for 24 per cent, arrivals though declined by 8,3 percent to compare with the data of the previous year.
Some 72,1 thousand migrants from Kazakhstan arrived in Russia in the reporting period up by 0,6 percent, followed by Tajikistan with 67,9 thousand. Tajikistan has recorded the utmost growth with 20,3 percent rise in arrival figures, the data showed.
Uzbekistan and Armenia hold respectively the fourth and fifth positions with 55,3 and 48, 4 thousand migrants travelled to Russia last year.
