Minsk 2019: Armenia’s Anush Grigoryan celebrates victory in 1/8 finals
Armenian boxer Anush Grigoryan on Sunday started her performance on the third day of the European Games underway in Minsk, Belarus.
Anush entered the tournament from the 1/8 finals competing with Czech Nela Freiherrova and took a 5-0 victory over her opponent.
The final bouts of this weight category will be held on June 26, with Anush set to face Poland’s Sandra Drabik, the National Olympic Committee reported.
On June 23 Armenian boxers Arman Darchinyan (75 kg) and Arthur Hovhannisyan (49 kg) also started their performances.
Darchinyan lost in the 1/8 finals, while Hovhannisyan won the boat to be qualified for the 1/4 finals.
