Two injured in explosion near car service center in Ararat province
Two citizens were injured in an explosion with fire from a metal cylinder in Ararat region, Armenia’s ministry of emergency situations reported on Thursday. The incident took place near car service center on Argavand-Azatashen roadway, the spurce detailed.
Two fire units from the fire and rescue squad and the operative group of National Crisis Management Center of the rescue service of MES of RA dispatched to the scene. The fire was extinguished by local forces. The gas accumulated in the cylinder burnt.
As the ministry said, the victims identified as H. A. (born in 1978) and A. K. (born in 1971) were taken to " medical center and then to Research Center of Radiation Medicine and Burns. According to doctors’ conclusion the casualties were in serious condition.
