Minsk 2019: Armenian athletes to compete in wrestling, boxing and cycling on 8th day
On the 8th day of the 2nd European Games underway in Minsk, Belarus, Armenia’s representatives will compete in wrestling, boxing and cycling, the National Olympic Committee reported.
In the Greco-Roman wrestling tournament Armenia will be represented by Armen Melikyan (60 kg), Karen Aslanyan (67 kg) and Karapet Chalyan (77 kg). The preliminary bouts are set to kick off at 12:20am Yerevan time.
Artur Hovhannisyan (49 kg), Karen Tonakanyan (60 kg), Hovhannes Bachkov (64 kg) and Gor Nersesyan (81kg) are set to compete in the boxing tournament. The semifinal bouts start at 4:30pm Yerevan time.
Cyclist Edgar Stepanyan will come out in the point race competition at 9:35pm Yerevan time.
