Rockfall on Odzun-Vanadzor roadway disrupts traffic flow
The roadway Odzun-Vanadzor became one-way closed on the morning of July 6, according to the report received to "911" service, the ministry of emergency situations (MES) reported on Saturday.
A fire unit from the fire and rescue squad of the rescue service of MES of RA dispatched to the scene. It turned out that rockfall had occurred from the cliff adjacent to the 29th km of Odzun-Vanadzor roadway. About 22 pieces of stone (2 m3) fell and one-way closed the road (about 1x10 m).
Rescuers took away the pieces of stone. The roadway is two-way passable.
