Andrea Wiktorin nominated as new head of EU Delegation to Armenia
Federica Mogherini, High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy/Vice-President of the European Commission, has nominated Andrea Wiktorin as Head of the EU Delegation to Armenia.
Wiktorin, who is set to replace Piotr Świtalski in the post, currently heads the EU Delegation to Belarus, the EU External Action website reported.
She also served as Germany’s ambassador to Armenia in 2007-2009.
Mogherini has announced nominations of 43 heads of delegations who will be formally appointed after receipt of the agréments.
