20-year-old seriously injured in tragic Armenia road accident dies in hospital
A 20-year-old girl seriously injured in a tragic road accident in Armenia’s Ararat Province on Saturday died in the hospital on Wednesday evening.
The girl, identified as Tsaghik Hambardzumyan, was receiving treatment at the Scientific Center of Radiation Medicine and Burns.
Speaking to Panorama.am, the head of the center’s Department of Burns, Karine Babayan said the girl was in critical condition and had suffered injuries ‘incompatible with life.’
As reported earlier, six people were killed and 13 others were wounded as a minibus burst into flames after colliding with two cars on Yerevan-Yeraskh highway.
One of the two car drivers, who was also seriously injured, has been arrested on suspicion of causing the crash.
