Armenia’s crisis management center handles 867 calls over past week
The National Center for Crisis Management at Armenia’s Ministry of Emergency Situations responded to a total of 867 calls from 15 to 21 July, of which 609 were emergency cases.
The number included 168 household calls, 507 fire calls, 70 road traffic accidents, due to which 3 people died, while 79 others suffered injuries.
The center registered 63 cases of snake detection in the reporting period, with snakes found by rescuers while responding to 29 reports, the ministry’s press service said.
The past week saw 13 poisoning cases affecting 15 citizens.
The ministry urges people to be as vigilant as possible and strictly observe the safety rules.
