Armenian soldier wounded in Azerbaijani fire
A contract soldier of the Armenian Armed Forces was wounded in Azerbaijan’s cross border shooting in Tavush Province on Saturday, at around 11am.
The serviceman’s injuries are not life threatening, the Defense Ministry said in an official statement.
“The new provocative act by Azerbaijan once again proves that the adversary continues to blatantly violate the ceasefire regime and intentionally escalate the situation on the border zone.
“The full responsibility for the escalation falls on the Azerbaijani side,” the statement read.
