Temperatures rise again in Armenia
Temperatures are expected to increase by 4-5 degrees in Armenia on 30-31 July due to the penetration of warm air masses, peaking at 40C in capital Yerevan, Ararat Valley and Syunik valleys on 31 July and 1 August.
Temperatures are expected to fall as much on August 2-3, according to a daily weather update.
Over the next five days a high risk of fire is predicted in the valleys and foothills of the country, the emergencies ministry said.
No precipitation is forecast for 30-31 July and 1 August, while showers with thunderstorm is predicted in some regions on 2-3 August.
Southwest wind speed is 3-8 m/s, the ministry said, adding during thunderstorms wind speed may reach up to 15-20 m/s.
No precipitation is expected in Yerevan in the next five days. Strong winds up to 18-20 m/s is possible in the capital in the evening hours.
