Armenian army chief visits northeastern frontline
Chief of the General Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces, Lieutenant-General Artak Davtyan on 29 July visited the military units and positions in the country’s northeastern border.
The army chief was briefed on the border situation, the combat readiness and morale levels of the staff and engineering and reinforcement works.
In an official statement on Wednesday, the Defense Ministry said Davtyan lunched with on-duty soldiers and checked the food quality.
Davtyan encouraged distinguished servicemen, wishing the troops peaceful and safe service.
Also, he issued instructions to commanders regarding pressing issues.
