Production of non-alcoholic drinks drop in Armenia
Production of non-alcoholic beverages dropped by 28.7% to 28 million 981.2 thousand liters in Armenia in the first five months of 2019 against the same period last year, according to the latest official figures.
Meantime, the country produced 4 million 440.9 thousand liters of fruit and vegetable juice from January to May, up by 8.7% from 2018, the National Statistical Committee said.
According to the statistics, Armenia’s tomato juice production grew by 32.4% to 208.5 thousand liters this year, while production of fruit juice with sugar additives increased by 7.7% to amount to 4 million 232.4 thousand liters.
