Fire breaks out at Yerevan apartment building
A fire erupted at an apartment building in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia, on Thursday, the Ministry of Emergency Situations said.
Three fire and rescue squads were dispatched to the scene after emergency responders received a report at 9:40pm.
The fire which broke out at the kitchen of an apartment of the 26th building in 16 District of the capital had been reportedly caused by gas leak.
A wooden board mounted on the kitchen wall was burnt due to the fire.
The fire was deemed under control at 9:55pm and put out at 9:59pm, the ministry said.
No injuries were reported.
