Murder attempt probe launched following the explosion on Yerevan-Sevan highway
Kotayk Investigative Division has launched murder attempt probe over the explosion occurred on Friday on Yerevan-Sevan highway, Pastinfo reported.
As reported earlier, the explosion occurred at midday and covered around 30-meter-long section of the highway that became hardly passable due to the incident. As a result of the accident two vehicles were damaged with one of them belonging former MP Melik Manukyan known under nickname “Shshi Melo.”
As the press department at the Investigative Committee reports, a criminal case was initiated according to number of points of Article 34-104 of the RA Criminal Code which are murder attempt and illegal acquisition and possession of firearms and ammunition.
Investigatory actions are carried out by law enforcement at the scene.
