Short-term rains predicted on August 2-7 in Armenia
Short-term rains with thunderstorm is predicted in separate places in the territory of Armenia on August 3-7, Hydromet meteorological service reported on Friday.
Southwest wind speed is 3-8 m/s, during the thunderstorm wind speed may reach up to 15-20 m/sm the source added.
On August 3 in Lori, Tavush, Syunik provinces and Artsakh the air temperature will go down by 8-10 degrees, in other regions it will go down by 5-6 degrees.
Meantime, the ministry warned of a high risk of fire in the valleys and foothills of the country over the next four days.
