Artsakh leader: Armenia-Artsakh-Diaspora trinity a lifestyle
Artsakh Republic President Bako Sahakyan on Monday addressed thousands of people at a pan-Armenian rally in Stepanakert’s Revival Square ahead of the 7th Pan-Armenian Summer Games to kick off in the Artsakh capital on Tuesday.
In his speech, the Artsakh leader said the organizers of the games have spared no effort to grant pleasant, interesting and exciting moments to the audience.
Commenting on the Armenia-Artsakh-Diaspora trinity, Sahakyan said its a way of thinking and lifestyle, which has helped them overcome the deep wounds of the war, resolve numerous problems and enter a stage of sustainable development.
“And from here I declare that Artsakh is ready to accomplish its part of the mission with confidence and determination, creating necessary conditions for future achievements and victories,” the president said.
Greeting Armenia’s prime minister, as well as all Armenians from Armenia and the Diaspora, Sahakyan stated that the path that Artsakh has chosen is irreversible and regardless of any circumstances, the people of Artsakh will strive to achieve their goals and dreams.
The president also vowed to make constant efforts for the international recognition of Artsakh, coming a step closer to the dream of having a united Armenia.
Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan, National Assembly Speaker Ararat Mirzoyan and other senior officials were also present at the rally.
