‘Artsakh is Armenia’, says Armenian PM
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan posted Armenia’s strategic development goals until 2050 on Facebook after revealing them at the pan-Armenian rally in Stepanakert, Artsakh on Monday.
According to the vision, the country’s population should grow from the current 3 million to at least 5 million people.
“- create1.5 million jobs, provide employment for 2.5 million and eliminate poverty;
- transform Armenia into an industrial country, increase its gross domestic product 15 times;
- have at least five Armenian technological companies worth over $10 billion and 10,000 working startups;
- increase average salaries seven times;
- rank among at least top 20 most combat armies in the world;
- have one of the world’s top ten most efficient intelligence services;
- ensure a 100 percent access to health services and increase funding for the health sector 20-fold;
- turn education into a national way of thinking and increase funding for the education and science 20 times,” the post read.
According to the government’s vision, Armenia should attract 15 million tourists by the time and efforts will be taken to turn the country’s national football team a medal winner at European or world championship, to gain 25 Olympic gold medals and to win the world chess champion’s title.
“Artsakh is Armenia, that’s all,” the PM concluded.
