Europa League: Ararat-Armenia suffers painful defeat
In the first leg of the third qualifying round of the Europa League Yerevan’s Ararat-Armenia FC faced Tbilisi’s Saburtalo at Vazgen Sargsyan Republican Stadium on Tuesday.
Armenia’s champion suffered a painful 1-2 defeat, the National Olympic Committee's press service reported.
The only goal of the Armenian club was scored by Russian Anton Kobyalko in the first half. Sandro Atunashvili and Levan Kenia scored the two goals for the Georgian club in the second half.
The second leg will be played in Tbilisi on August 14.
