One injured in traffic accident in Armenian town
A person has been injured in a road traffic accident in Sisian, a town in Armenia’s Syunik Province, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reports.
One fire and rescue squad of the ministry was dispatched to the scene after the emergency responders received a report on the accident on Saturday, shortly after midnight.
The crew found out that a Vaz 2106 had turned over after going off the road and colliding into the wall of one of the nearby houses. The 22-year-old driver of the car suffered injuries in the wake of the accident.
Before the arrival of rescuers, the driver had been taken to the Sisian military hospital through the efforts of local residents. His health condition is assessed as satisfactory.
The cause of the crash was not immediately clear.
