Armenia wins 9 medals at U14 European Boxing Championships
The Armenian team has won nine medals – one gold, three silver and five bronze – at the EUBC U14 European Boxing Championships held in Tbilisi, Georgia.
Armenian boxer Suren Arakelyan (68 kg) captured a gold medal for the team, the National Olympic Committee’s press service reported.
Athletes Narek Nersisyan (54 kg), Artur Mkrtchyan (56 kg) and Garik Antanosyan (65 kg) won silver medals.
Meanwhile, Davit Safaryan (38.5 kg), Arman Miskaryan (46 kg), Gor Khudoyan (50 kg), Davit Simonyan (72 kg) and Albert Harutyunyan (80 kg) conquered bronze medals.
The teenage athletes’ result is exceptional for Armenian boxing.
