European Championships: Armenian divers fail to overcome qualifying round
The European Diving Championships came to an end in Kiev, Ukraine.
On the last day Armenian divers Lev Sargsyan and Vladimir Harutyunyan failed to overcome the qualifying round of the 10m platform event, the National Olympic Committee’s press service reported.
Lev Sargsyan placed 14th with 332.80 points among 19 participants and Vladimir Harutyunyan came 16th with 311.0 points.
Ukraine’s Oleksii Sereda became a European champion at 10m platform event (488.85), French Benjamin Aufret won the silver medal (474.90), while Russian Ruslan Ternovoi – the bronze medal (445.25).
