Police: Teen stabbed during dispute in Yerevan
A teenager has been hospitalized after suffering stab wounds in Yerevan, Armenia, the Armenian Police reported.
The 15-year-old, whose identity is not disclosed, was stabbed in the chest on Tuesday during a dispute with another 15-year near a supermarket in Yerevan’s Shengavit District.
On the same day, the latter turned himself in to the Shengavit Police Department and confessed to the crime. The teen has been placed under arrest.
According to doctors, the victim has not been able to testify.
A forensic and medical examination has been instructed.
Preliminary probe is underway.
