Armenian security chief, Chinese ambassador discuss bilateral cooperation
China is a friendly and partner country for Armenia and relations between the two countries are on a high level, Director of Armenia’s National Security Service (NSS) Artur Vanetsyan, at a meeting with Chinese Ambassador to Armenia Tian Erlong on Wednesday.
Vanetsyan expressed hope that cooperation between Armenia and China in the fight against terrorism will be further strengthened for the benefit of the two friendly nations, the NSS’s press service reported.
The ambassador noted that the Chinese Embassy stands ready to support Armenia in combatting crimes and implementing the ongoing reforms.
During the meeting, the officials also discussed partnership in personnel training, as well as in fighting corruption and other global challenges.
