Artsakh’s wine production grows strongly in first half-year
Artsakh’s wine industry showed a strong growth in the first half of 2019, according to the latest official figures released by the country’s National Statistical Service.
The country produced a total of 152,100 liters of wine in January-June of this year, up by 38.9% from the same period last year, when the country produced 109,500 liters.
In the first half-year, vodka production also increased by 7.9% to 213,700 liters from last year’s 198,100 liters.
Meanwhile, the statistics show that production of bandy dropped in Artsakh by 9.1% in January-June. The country produced 6,000 liters of brandy in the reporting period against last year’s 6,600 liters.
