Six injured in traffic crash in Armenian capital
A road traffic crash involving a car and a minibus in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia, left six people wounded, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.
The accident occurred at the intersection of Artsakh Avenue and Erebuni Street on Thursday.
One fire and secure squad was dispatched to the scene after the emergency responders received a crash report at 10:13pm.
The crew found out that a Mercedes E 350 car had collided into a Mercedes Sprinter minibus. Four of the affected passengers, including the driver of the minibus, were hospitalized at Erebuni Medical Center to be discharged after receiving necessary medical aid.
The driver of Mercedes E 350 refused to be taken to hospital.
Rescuers de-energized the vehicles.
The cause of the crash was not immediately clear.
