Kocharyan supporters hand letter to German ambassador
A group of supporters of Armenia’s second president Robert Kocharyan on Friday staged a protest outside the German Embassy in Yerevan, complaining about the situation in the country’s judicial system.
They handed a letter addressed to the German ambassador to the representative of the embassy, adding it covers issues regarding Armenia’s judiciary and human rights.
Stressing that their letter is public, the protesters said they expect also a public response to it.
The embassy employee promised to hand over the letter to the ambassador.
Kocharyan’s supporters have already given similar letters to the EU ambassador in Armenia and the Supreme Judicial Council.
