The Chief of the General Staff of Armenian Armed Forces Artak Davtyan visited on Monday the defense positions at the north-eastern border area of the Republic of Armenia, the press department at the defense ministry reported.

According to the source, Lieutenant General Davtyan was briefed on the operative situation at the border area, the physical, combat and moral readiness of the troops,  got familiarized with the engineering works conducted at the frontline as well as the guard  service conditions.

During the visit, Artak Davtyan inspected the new field uniforms of the troops which will make the  implementation of the combat duties more efficient, inspected the newly constructed arsenals, the obtained weapons and issued number of instructions on matters of priority address.
