Artsakh president discusses development of the mining industry in the country
Artsakh President Bako Sahakyan received today famed geologist from Russia Sergey Vardanyan to discuss issues on the development of the mining industry in Artsakh, Information Department at the President’s Office reported.
The President handed in the “Anania Shirakatsi” medal to Sergey Vardanyan for services rendered to the Artsakh Republic in the sphere of geological survey and mining, voicing his hope that the renowned specialist would further on contribute to the socioeconomic progress in our republic.
Artsakh Republic state minister Grigory Martirosyan, adviser to the President Grigory Gabrielyants and other officials were present at the meeting.
