Diana Galoyan named new interim rector of Armenian State University of Economics
Armenian Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport has signed a decree on appointing Diana Galoyan as new interim rector of Armenian State University of Economics. The latter has acted as protector on academic affairs at the same university. As the ministry reported in a release, Galoyan, PhD in economics, will serve in the position until the election and appointment of the new rector will take place according to the procedure envisaged by the RA legislation.
Diana Galoyan’s appointment as interim rector of the university came following the dismissal of previous interim rector Ruben Hayrapetyan.
