Yerevan State Medical University named the best foreign university for Indian students
The Yerevan State Medical University (YSMU) has been named the best foreign university for Indian students. The university was chosen the winner of the respective nomination at the award-giving ceremony of the annual Global Education Excellence Awards held in Delhi days ago.
As the University said in a released statement, the award was handed over to the University provost on foreign relations Yervand Sahakyan and the head of YSMU Indian Alumni Association Daljit Sing Chauhan by a famous Indian actor Jackie Shroff.
“The award demonstrates the appreciation of the long and hard work implemented in the sphere of medical education which will further strengthen the Armenian-Indian cooperation in the sphere of education,” the statement added.
According to the data of India’s Foreign Medical Graduates Examination (FMGE) commission, YSMU also holds a high position according to the results of attestation exams that Indian graduates of YSMU pass in the motherland, thus raising the image of the University and overall Armenia on international educational platforms.
