Germany completes CEPA ratification – MFA
Germany has informed the European Council about completion of the ratification of EU-Armenia Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement (CEPA), spokesperson at Armenia’s ministry of foreign affairs informed.
To remind, the German Bundestag ratified the Agreement (CEPA) in April of the ongoing year. The ratification came based on the approval of the Bundestag Foreign relations Committee.
The EU and Armenia signed the new deal on the sidelines of the EU Eastern Partnership Summit in November 2017. The agreement was provisionally applied on June 1 in the following year. Thus far the Agreement has thus been fully been ratified by 15 EU members states.
