First court hearing in Kocharyan case set for 12 September
The first court hearing in the criminal case involving Armenia’s second President Robert Kocharyan, former Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan, former CSTO Secretary General Yuri Khachaturov and former Deputy Prime Minister Armen Gevorgyan is scheduled for 12 September.
In a statement on Tuesday, Kocharyan’s defense team said the trial will be presided over by Anna Danibekyan, a judge of the Court of First Instance of Yerevan’s Shengavit District.
The hearing will start at 1pm, the statement said.
