Armenia’s State Jazz Orchestra to perform jazz versions of classical music
The State Jazz Orchestra of Armenia will present a unique jazz concert entitled “Jazz Versions of Classical Music''.
The concert is scheduled for 15 September, at 7pm, at the hall of the Union of Architects of Armenia, the orchestra said on Facebook.
Headed by its Artistic Director and Conductor Armen Hyusnunts, the orchestra will perform jazz versions of the classical compositions by Bach, Mozart, Tschaikowsky, Grieg, Gershwin, Piazzolla, Komitas, Khachaturian, Babajanyan and other composers.
