FM: Pashinyan-Trump meeting on the agenda
A meeting of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and U.S. President Donald Trump is on the agenda, Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan told a news conference on Friday.
The minister hailed the ‘extremely satisfactory’ dialogue between Armenia and the United States during 2019.
“We have no deficit of high-level contacts with the United States. We hold an active dialogue both at the level of the White House and the Department of State. There are no restrictions on further intensifying the dialogue at any moment,” the minister stressed.
Mnatsakanyan added that during his visit to the United States expected later in September, Pashinyan is set to take part in and address the 74th session of the UN General Assembly in New York and hold several bilateral meetings.
