Service prices grow in Armenia: statistics
Prices for services increased by 0.2% in Armenia in August 2019 from August 2018, recording a 0.1% rise from July this year, according to the latest figures released by Armenia’s Statistical Committee.
Costs for apartment repair and maintenance, beauty salon and personal care spa services rose by 0.1%, public transport costs – by 0.6% and hotel fees – by 1.4%.
Meantime, prices for complex recreational services, leisure and culture-related services dropped by 0.3% and 0.1%, respectively, while home appliances repair costs, healthcare costs, prices of communication, education, consumer services (prices at cafés, restaurants) and legal services remained unchanged compared to the past year.
