“I believe the global revolution is inevitable and it will take place irrespective of any factor. We want it to start in Armenia as all prerequisites for it exist,” the co-founder of Adekvat party Artur Danielyan stated on Saturday at the first convention of the new political force, unveiling its programme and mission.

As Danielyan detailed, the mission of the new party will be to lead that revolution. “A global process will start soon. Despite the ongoing external information terror against us that has been the case for the past 30 years, despite foreign attempts to divide and derogate us, we remain an unitary society. The developments of the past year came to prove that we are even more unitary than any European state. Thus we have the chance to lead that global movement at the ideological level,” added Danielyan.  

He added the party is not established to take part in elections as they do not want “to play a part in the theatrical performance” rather call on citizens to leave it, suggesting those who come to power triggering emotions will have short life either.

“I am confident that as a result of the revolution democracy as system of governance will relinquish its place to meritocracy and technocracy in which decision-makers will be selected on the basis of their expertise not in squares,” added Danielyan. He explained that the formation of the new party is a necessary instrument and platform to cooperate with political partners abroad on the matters above.
