Temperatures to grow up to 30C in Armenia
Temperatures are set to gradually increase by around 6-7 degrees across Armenia from 14 to 17 September, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.
The country’s valleys, including capital Yerevan, will experience up to 30C heat, the ministry said.
Meanwhile, showers and thunderstorms are expected in most regions on 12 September, in the daytime of 15 September and on 16 September.
No precipitation is forecast for 13-14 September and for the night of 15 September.
North-eastern wind speed is 3-8 m/s. During thunderstorms wind speed may reach up to 15-20 m/s.
Capital Yerevan will also see showers and thunderstorms on 12 September, in the late evening hours of 15 September and on 16 September, with strong winds up to 15-20 m/s possible during thunderstorms.
No precipitation is predicted in the capital on 13-14 September and in the night of 15 September.
