House fire breaks out in Armenian town
A fire erupted at a house in the town of Ijevan in Armenia’s Tavush Province on Thursday evening, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.
Two fire and rescue squads were dispatched to the scene.
The fire, which had broken out at a house on Metaghagortsner Street, was contained at 11:24pm and put out at 11:46pm, the ministry said.
The wooden front door of the house, one sofa, two armchairs, one bed, three carpets, the balcony roof, 15 mattresses and about 50 square meters of the house roof were burnt in the wake of the fire.
No injuries were reported.
