Central Bank warns against fake coins advertised on eBay
Central Bank of Armenia informs that a collection of coins dedicated to the 80th death anniversary of Polish Armenian painter Theodore Aksentovich are on sale on eBay online auction. The collection comprising of eight coins is made of silver, depicts the coat of arms of the Republic of Armenia, Armenian markings and the sale price of 100 AMD on its observe.
As the Bank reports the coins are not issued by the Central Bank and are fake. Measures have been taken to reveal the falsifiers and bring them to responsibility.
It further reports that the Teador Aksentovich coins were issued by the Bank in 2010 and all volumes are consumed.
