Pashinyan introduces interim NSS chief to staff
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on Friday introduced Eduard Martirosyan, newly appointed interim Director of the National Security Service (NSS), to the agency’s staff.
“I consider the institution-building in Armenia important in the current period and in general. I believe the NSS is a truly established institution. But as you know, we have agreed that our ambitions will gradually grow,” he said at the meeting. “No matter how well a structure is established, our key task should be ensuring the continuous growth of its professional level, which, however, doesn’t mean that its professional level is low,” he added.
Colonel Eduard Martirosyan was appointed Deputy NSS Director in 2018.
