Dubai's Burj Khalifa to light up with Armenian flag on Independence Day
The President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Khalifa bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, Vice President of UAE and ruler of the Emirate of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum as well as Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, the UAE Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed bin Sultan al-Nahyan have extended greetings on the 28th anniversary of Armenia’s Independence, UAE Ambassador in Armenia Mohamed AlZaabi told Panorama.am.
“I am delighted to extend congratulations to the President of Armenia Armen Sarkissian, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, and most importantly - to the friendly people of Armenia, wishing them great progress, development and prosperity,” the Ambassador said.
He noted that on the occasion of the Independence day on September 21, at 21:10 for the first time Dubai Burj Khalifa will light up in the colors of the Armenian national flag on the occasion of Independence day of Armenia.
“This will reflect the brotherly and friendly relations between our two countries and peoples. Our relations with friendly Armenia are special in number of spheres, especially in tourism,” the Ambassador added.
