Famous opera singer Anna Kasian, State Symphony Orchestra to perform joint concert in Yerevan
Famous Armenia opera singer, soprano Anna Kasyan will perform in Yerevan, at Aram Khachatryan Concert Hall on September 23 accompanied by Armenian State Symphony Orchestra. As Panorama.am learnt from the Orchestra press service, the concert is dedicated to the 28th anniversary of Armenia’s
Independent and is organized as part of the third edition of “Armenia” International Music Festival.
During the concert State Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Sergey Smbatyan will perform Mikhail Kokzhayev's “Sardarapat bells” and Anna Kasian will present pieces by Alexey Shor, Pietro Mascagni, Puccini, Dvorak, Ottorino Respighi and Giacomo Rossini.
To note, Kasian is a prize-winner of numerous international competitions, including the 1st Renata Tebaldi International Competition, a First Prize in Singing Musical Autumn Festival, Adams, the winner of the Meyer Foundation award for the years 2004–2005, the winner of the 4th prize at International Queen Elisabeth Music Competition in Belgium.
The Armenia International Music Festival is organized by the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra and the European Foundation for Support of Culture in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport.
