Putin plans to visit Armenia on 1 October: report
Russian President Vladimir Putin plans to visit Yerevan on October 1 to attend a meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council in the Armenian capital, RIA Novosti reported, quoting Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrey Rudenko.
“Russia and Armenia consistently foster their comprehensive allied relations and maintain intensive political dialogue at the highest level,” Rudenko said at a reception dedicated to Armenia's Independence Day celebrated on 21 September.
“In a week, on October 1, Vladimir Putin will visit Yerevan to participate in the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council meeting,” he said.
