Armenia’s crisis management center handles 500 calls in one week
The National Center for Crisis Management of Armenia’s Ministry of Emergency Situations responded to a total of 500 calls from 23 to 29 September, of which 308 were emergency cases.
The number included 136 household calls, 218 fire calls, 69 road traffic accidents, as a result of which 5 people died, 102 others suffered injuries and 9 citizens were rescued.
The center registered 26 cases of snake detection in the past week, with snakes found by rescuers while responding to 16 reports, the ministry’s press service said.
The past week saw 10 poisoning cases affecting 16 citizens.
The ministry urges people to be as vigilant as possible and strictly observe the safety rules.
